ATRO Medical is developing an artificial meniscus Trammpolin^®. This medical device is indicated for patients with a dysfunctional meniscus and persistent pain, where conservative treatment options have failed. Extensive in vitro testing is conducted first to ensure that the Trammpolin^® device effectively imitates the behaviour of the natural meniscus.
