Mibiton funds and faciliteiten
Mibiton is a foundation for public-private partnerships, which reinforces the material infrastructure of biotechnological research in the Netherlands by enabling (young) entrepreneurs in Life Sciences to finance expensive equipment or facilities.
Independent organisation
The Mibiton Foundation was established in 1994 with support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Change. Mibiton has been an independent organisation since January 1st 2020. Our funds are revolving: the money we lend is mostly channelled back into the foundation resulting in the availability of new loans.
25th anniversary
Mibiton celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2019, when a film was made to mark the occasion.
